Dan Bond is a singer/songwriter bringing a modern country twist to the classic songwriting style of the 1960’s.

Dan first came to prominence in 2011 as the lead singer in duo, Music & Spies. In 2013, he released his first Music & Spies EP, titled ‘In My Hands’ which soared to the top 20’s in the iTunes singer/songwriter chart. The title track won the award for best original song in the national music competition OpenMicUK, and second track, ‘Good Things Happen In The Rain’ came highly praised by BBC6 radio presenter, Tom Robinson.

Since then, Dan’s talent has not gone unnoticed, winning 2 awards in a row for best male solo artist from Cambridge 105 Radio’s NMG Awards, an event that people including Bob Harris and Sheila Ravenscroft have supported.

Dan has toured extensively around the UK, sharing the stage with artists including Hayseed Dixie, Gideon Conn and Lucy Spraggan, whom he supported  across the UK on her post X-Factor tour.

In 2019, Dan released  If It's Alright, a song co-written and recorded with brother, Ollie Bond. Following the release, Dan featured as Richer Unsigned's Artist of the week.

Soon after, Dan released his highly anticipated single Count the Stars. Inspired by a road trip in Norway; the song was written about campfires, cold beers and good company.

Dan’s latest single ‘Heaven Ain’t Nothin’ is a song close to his heart. Whilst travelling around Australia, he wrote the song to deal with the loss of his grandfather.

With much more coming soon, it’s never too late to jump on the wagon!
